Actually, I'm not sure we're going to add this patch, as it's
basically unnecessary for Gnash releases, and only effects builds from
CVS. I'm working (while traveling) on tweaking Gnash to not install any
of it's libraries, but to link them all together in one big image, but
also to still support dynamically loading of Gnash extensions or other
systems libraries.
So anyway, this is not really a blocker, as for a release, the version
numbers *are* on each library. We only dropped the datestamp for cvs
builds to reduce cluttering up ones lib dir with multiple copies of the
same library.
