'bugs.libming.org' requires user registration, so I tried to register there, but haven't received confirmation email so far.

We have just built a Ubuntu7.10-Gutsy, Linux 2.6.22-14-generic, gcc/g++ 4.1.3 (prerelease) environment, where the current default locale is 'en_HK.UTF-8'. And both ming0.4.0-beta5 build and 'make check' under 'ming0.4.0-beta5/test/' have passed. Next we will try Gnash-dev there.

Last time I've seen a similar problem it was reported by zou and
turned out to be something to do with characters encoding or
interpretation thereof.
Do you have non-ascii characters in your source files ?
