Can someone explain me what could be the problem?

I believe this would work.  It recognizes the AmigaOS paths with
variable length assignments as absolute.  Am I remembering correctly

the case, then the invocation:
aos4-gnash DH2:Gnash/SWF_TEST/test.swf

should work with 'DH2:Gnash/SWF_TEST/test.swf' being recognized as an
absolute path.
