Some people may have seen that the avm2 branch has been merged to trunk.
It isn't very functional yet; mostly it's limited to displaying bits of
text and tracing things. The virtual machine itself has many bugs and
unimplemented functions, and most of the AS3 classes are still missing.

Because the code is still unstable, it will not be compiled unless you
use --enable-avm2 as a configure option. If want a build without AS3
support (currently recommended for production use), most of the
AVM2-specific code that used to be compiled anyway is now omitted, so
you will get slimmer binaries and shorter compile times.

Any testing would be very useful, and please report any crashes on the
Gnash bug tracker http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?group=gnash .
