FYI: these are the top causes for wakeups reported by powertop on my machine while both gtk-gnash AND the adobe's player play the *same* movie (10.0s interval): 64.5% (476.6) flashplayer : futex_wait (hrtimer_wakeup) 8.5% ( 62.9) gtk-gnash : schedule_timeout (process_timeout) 8.4% ( 62.2) flashplayer : schedule_timeout (process_timeout) The process_timeout seems pretty "compatible" (heart-beat++?) Does anyone have ideas about what could the hrtimer_wakeup call performed by adobe's be ? --strk; Free GIS & Flash consultant/developer () ASCII Ribbon Campaign http://foo.keybit.net/~strk/services.html /\ Keep it simple! _______________________________________________ Gnash-dev mailing list Gnash-dev@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/gnash-dev
