Hi Micheal, what you're asking would be best implemented as a 'view logs' GTK window. Benjamin has been looking at it some time ago but never handled to complete the project due to other priorities on the list.
Nonetheless Ben added support for popping up windows and it should already work for well-defined malfunctioning (media decoding most noticeably). Now, adding more cases for a popup could help here, but it must be very carefully analized what's worth notifying or the risk is to get way TOO much notifications (and sometimes for nothing as some SWF application keep working just with minor disturbances for some unimplemented things). Probably a good candidate would be 'ABC' code at this time (movies requiring the virtual machine version 2).
