I'm having troubles with the linking phase for the testsuite on an Ubuntu 8.10 but it seems none of the core developers can reproduce the problem.
Does anyone else see such problem ? For me it only exposes on 'make check'. See http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/index.php?28740 for more details.
