For a while now, if one clicks on the YouTube time-line to have it play later
or earlier in the video,
the video freezes, the "Sorry, Ubuntu 14.10 has experienced an internal error"
window comes up presently (at least the first time I try this),
and after pressing "Continue" and waiting a bit, the "The Adobe Flash Plugin
has crashed. Reload the page to try again."
message comes up (from Firefox?).

I used to be able to go back and forth in a video, to skip forwards or repeat
something, but not now.
What do you suppose is the problem; has anyone else noted this?

Mozilla Firefox 28.0

(I am using an older version of FF because all subsequent versions crash when
trying to load upon start (and therefore are all unusable)).
