Hello, I'm the guy who have already tried to improve your ebuild.

Well Ok, your ebuild seems to be better than mine...
I didn't think to use inheritance...

Some ideas :
  • I think the patch i've made for klash support isn't need anymore with set-kdedir
  • I will test tomorrow your ebuild
  • your flags are also better named than mine
  • I'm _really_ not sure that libcaca, gpm, ncurse and slang are fixed dependencies
  • I forgot libz and many more :)
Maybe there good ideas in my ebuild ; I've tried to write it to be as modularized as possible and, and I've already test many configuration in use flags.
