I checked out the "release_0_7_1" from Gnash CVS and its working nicely, both as a player and plugin.Its working as a plugin for Firefox 1.5.03 also. Thanks for your kind cooperation.

When submitting bug reports, it always helps to mention what platform you are on, which OS distribution, CVS or a release, etc... so have a better idea. Currently Gnash CVS is undergoing many heavy changes, like playing files while they're still loading, win32 support, etc... You might have better luck with the last alpha release.
