Just for the record (surely you guys know this already), [1] talks about how
PmWiki stores data and how to make text searches. There is a comment describing
a timing out situation similar, as far as i understand it, to the one at gNS
site.

Thanks for the info. I think Brian Brazil has a pretty good idea about
what's causing the issue. Fixing it is a different matter.
