FYI the factory-installed MiniPCI Wifi card for the Gdium uses a chipset that needs a binary blob to work; so it won't work with gNewSense (or at least shouldn't ;-) - it is replacable (you need to take the Gdium apart a bit; the MiniPCI slot is not usable via the back panel) - the IBM ath5k card is known to work with it (report from philv from #gdium on freenode), and I'd guess other ath5k and the newer ath9k minipci cards would work as well (although for some of the ath9k cards you may need to route your own 3rd antenna wire). There is someone (BLUG_Fred from #gdium on freenode) looking into getting Ralink to release code or enough specs for others to write code for the factory-installed card. > I retrieved sources of the kernel used by mandriva. > Where can I get sources of the gNewSense mips kernel? I'd assume there are just the usual source debs, but Robert will have the canonical answer to that question (not online atm so can't check for you). -- Daniel JB Clark | Sys Admin, Free Software Foundation pobox.com/~dclark | http://www.fsf.org/about/staff#danny
