Hi, I just followed all these steps in my yeeloong with an updated gnewsense mips-l but the problem is always there. For example. The default command issued when a person with gnewsense mips-l click on system -> administration -> synaptic is su-to-root -c -X /usr/sbin/synaptic The one you suggested me to try is: gksu /usr/sbin/synaptic I followed the steps above, rebooted and tried to launch both the previous commands, clicking on the menu and writing the commands in the shell. The result is the same. A window appears asking me for my password, I enter it, the window disappear and then nothing. Even the shell don't show me any errors, just returns to the prompt. - -- Graziano Sorbaioli ~ sorbaioli.org Libre Planet Italia http://libreplanet.org/index.php/LibrePlanetItalia -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFJ21qgTtn97LA90HMRAhruAJ9QcJaJ/uvXmipOtxcTT0+nAQVRyQCgxiS3 CWsVjYTHpi3b7DIKUFywyFs= =eDKZ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ gNewSense-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/gnewsense-dev
