Hey, Just a quick update, I've changed the URL for the script to something shorter, with a nicer name: http://bitbucket.org/oheard/gimt (gimt == gNewSense Issue Migration Tool).
Due to being unable to contact Karl, and following advice from Sam, I have begun work on the mini-project. First commit/push has been made, although the script isn't functional yet, I hope to have something workable by the end of today.
