Yes, ext2 is not added by default, Daniel Clark have sent a new config
in another thread.

Of what I know FAT16 (vfat) is not supported because it's covered by
patents, and also has been enforced. So that's why my common audio
player and my common cell phone doesn't work.

I have no problem mounting the FAT partition on my USB stick with 2.6.31.6.
