Today is the second time I found that permissions on /tmp had changed on
my Yeeloong. What I did with my Yeeloong today:
- Power on Yeeloong and boot 2.6.31.6-libre1 on a partition I installed
in March.
- Log into GNOME and start a Root Terminal.
- Mount another partition with a fresh install to check the grub.cfg.
- Close Root Terminal (without unmounting).
- Shut down Yeeloong.
- Power on Yeeloong and boot 2.6.31.6-libre1 again.
- GDM starts (on console 8) but when I log in I get a window that says
my session was ended within 10 seconds.
- Click OK -> back to GDM
- I log in on console 1 and `stat /tmp': Access = 0755 instead of 1777.
/tmp also still contains files and directories from before I shut down.
- sudo chmod 1777 /tmp
- Log in on GDM -> GNOME starts just fine.
The other time it happened I was also using 2.6.31.6-libre1.
Has anyone noticed similar problems?
