I suppose you uses LynxEM+ SM712 chip in your system. It’s true that SM712 only has 4MB VRAM. So it can’t be configured to 1024x1024 virtual mode in XRandR mode.
You can try to add “ Virtual 1024 768” into “Screen” section. 发件人: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] 代表 晏华 发送时间: 2013年3月20日 10:06 收件人: [email protected]; Teddy.Wang 王力强 主题: Re: [Gnewsense-dev] Small update to siliconmotion X.org driver package May Teddy can give some help. 2013/3/20 Marek Buras <[email protected]> On Mon, Mar 18, 2013 at 11:10:37PM +0100, Sam Geeraerts wrote: > Yes, that helped. Both have only 1024x768 mode defined. I found on page linked from gNewSense wiki[1] that this machine has only 4MB VRAM (detected by X.org). Is that true? The other problem may be ModeLine, but I'm not brave enough to "guess" it and put hardcoded value into conf file ;) I don't know if anyone has problems with "flickering" and so on, but if so, then someone more skilled with access to the hardware would check it (with xvidtune?). I don't know however if such experiments are safe for the hardware ;) [1] http://openbenchmarking.org/system/1212094-SU-PHORONIXT92/ffte/Xorg.0.log Happy hacking! -- Marek Buras cyfr0n (at) go2.pl _______________________________________________ gNewSense-dev mailing list [email protected] https://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/gnewsense-dev -- ----------------------------------------------------------------- 软件部 晏华 TEL : 0512-52308696 FAX: 0512-52308688 E-mail: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> 地址:江苏省常熟市虞山镇梦兰工业园 -----------------------------------------------------------------
