This should have no effect. It is generally advised not to recompile
libc, as doing so will require recompiling everything else in the
system. I suggest that someone investigate the root cause of this
issue, as this solution does not sound right.

rm /etc/ld.so.nohwcap

Fixes this issue. This won't be a problem with the next livecd, but
already installed systems will need that comamand.
