It is not in the kernel, but you can get it from http://linux-uvc.berlios.de . I purchased a Logitech QuickCam Pro 5000 and it works fine with this driver, using gNewSense, for rms's use. I tested it with Ekiga - worked great, even under low light. They have really great quality, but they are a little bit more expensive (we paid $60 for the QuickCam). *** It seems that this is the direction I too will go.
