Their bug tracker (Trac) is at http://developer.pidgin.im/search . A quick search ( http://developer.pidgin.im/search?q=unicode+crash&noquickjump=1&ticket=on ) reveals a possibility, #6108 (http://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/6108). It refers to XMPP, which is the Google Talk protocol. > I'd suspect that you could see this same behavior with another GNU/Linux > distribution. I would start by checking Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy) to see if the bug is present. If so, I would file against Launchpad. Either way, you could contribute to the Pidgin Trac bug I mentioned before. > It seems to me that no matter what you put in the text box, Pidgin > should never crash. I agree. But that's easier said than done. Matt Flasche _______________________________________________ gNewSense-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/gnewsense-users
