This is interesting.

I strange thing I found is this.

I own a Lenovo Thinkpad R60 with Intel Wifi 3945 chipset.

It is not supported in gNewSense because it needs a proprietary firmware
to function.

If I install Ubuntu 8.10, my wifi functions but there is no proprietary
driver listed on the "Driver Hardware" windows of Ubuntu.
