This is the same issue as http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/gnewsense-users/2009-02/msg00029.html . I agree with Sam Geeraerts (http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/gnewsense-users/2009-02/msg00031.html) that the root problem is "the wiki is served with a charset of ISO-8859-1".
