I'm a previous Ubuntu user, and it helped me to get used to gNewSense. As long as we don't give instructions on how to do a certain thing in non-free operating systems like Ubuntu and Windows, I don't think we do anything bad. Referencing can't be bad. Acknowledging that things exist isn't bad. It might be non-community-guideline-like to tell "I know how you can do this/that in Ubuntu/non-free-OS, just follow these steps...". I don't know if Deboard answered regarding my suggestion to use Miro in gNewSense for internet video. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFKE/DbmtKUasCeZwsRAi9EAJ490XaulGgsS1Hg+B5zvMpD2RbdCgCcC+p6 N01L5+e74jqb+PX5S0sxPIw= =x8tl -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ gNewSense-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/gnewsense-users
