Problem:
When i finish checking the files licenses (
http://wiki.gnewsense.org/Kernel/Ubuntu-hardy-linux-2-6-24-12-22--arch--arm )
in emacs (2.2 GTK) with kfv.el (version 0.8) i type C-c C-c to generate
markup text and next i type C-c C-c and y.
And then starts uploading to the wiki, and when the upload process is finish i
go to my adopted section in ->
http://wiki.gnewsense.org/Kernel/Ubuntu-hardy-linux-2-6-24-12-22--arch--arm
and i do not see Anything uploaded.
The page -> "The page "Kernel/Ubuntu-hardy-linux-2-6-24-12-22--arch--arm"
doesn't exist. "
Help please
:)
Until I check in a proper fix for this problem, there are some
workarounds.
1. A bug in the caching code of kfv.el might be involved here. You
can try running the command:
kfv-toggle-cache
to turn off the cache and then see if that helps. Please let me know
if it does.
2. Since the markup is already generated, you can just use a
web browser to create the section page and then copy and paste the
markup.
Thanks for your KFV work and for helping to improve kfv.el!
I talked to Marco on IRC. I think what he did was that he typed in the
root directory of the kernel source as the directory to check, but gave
it
http://wiki.gnewsense.org/Kernel/Ubuntu-hardy-linux-2-6-24-12-22--arch--arm
as the URL. He then descended to arch/arm and checked the files. That
resulted in uploading to the URL
http://wiki.gnewsense.org/Kernel/Ubuntu-hardy-linux-2-6-24-12-22--arch--arm--arch--arm.
I explained that the directory and the URL have to match and I think
it's working better for him now.
By the way, nice to hear from you again. I thought we'd lost you. :)
