My apologies to all. *I* got an error back from the mailing list software indicating that the message was not sent because it was too large. Clearly it sent the message anyway. Sorry about that. I guess that's another bug for Mailman to chew on.
Unfortunately, my MUA (last night: Evolution 1.0.8) doesn't indicate the size of the attachments, so I didn't even think that they were that large (they "seemed" to be small when I looked at them). Yet another nail in MS-Word's coffin. (Note that its already buried at my company.) > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Bruce Dawson" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: "GNHLUG Discussion" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Sent: Thursday, November 21, 2002 10:56 PM > Subject: Boston Linux Conference December 3-4 > The stupidity of a Linux organization sending out .doc format stuff is > debatable, but sending stuff this large through a mailing list is even > worse. Please people, don't do something like this again. Put it up on > a web site somewhere and just email the links. _______________________________________________ gnhlug-discuss mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.gnhlug.org/mailman/listinfo/gnhlug-discuss
