As far as I'm concerned: IGNORANCE = CARELESSNESS But you're right that it is usually the types that can't tell the difference between applications, data, operating systems, hardware, etc. Some of that is okay, but in other cases it behooves people like us to explain to them why sending out a Word document to a Linux crowd is bad marketing. And given the SIZE of such documents, it's generally bad form, anyhow. Perhaps someone should do to Ms. Juliet Sigmann exactly what employers keep doing to job applicants only in reverse: request that she send this information in a different format.
