My mother has never even read a book on Windows. Assuming that she switched to Linux, I would not imagine that she'd buy a book on Linux either. Her concerns would be how to accomplish what she used to do on Windows on Linux; these things are all application driven. So once she figured out how to read/send email, view Web pages, create spreadsheets, and create (Word) documents, she'd be set. The thought of having to purchase a 1000 page bok, or even 400 page book for that matter, to do those simple things would be a definite turn off. -Mike- __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
