For those few of you out there who haven't heard of it yet, there's a
new project underway called Hula, which aims to be an Open Source Group
Collaboration software package.

Hula has a wiki-based homepage, at
http://hula-project.org/index.php/Hula_Server , and has information on
how to get the source code from svn at
http://hula-project.org/index.php/Installing_Hula .

Hula sprung in large part from the NetMail product from Novell, which
was opensourced to give the project a jumping off point. It is currently
under development by Novell employees, however, there is a development
mailing list and instructions on how to create patches to the project.

Some parts which are already working:
  * POP Server
  * IMAP Server
  * SMTP Server
  * Webmail interface, with task and preference management.
  * Web admin interface, still replete with Novell branding.

However, all these things are of beta quality. Development is rapid
moving though, so it may be an interesting project to keep an eye on for
those of you who are forced to use Windows for Outlook/Exchange type
collaboration.
