That is, apparently, incorrect. A small number of people want to assert their opinions on a given subject, repeatedly. A significantly larger number of people do not want them to do that here. I base the above statements on the fact that these discussions generally seem to involve the same small group of people, speaking on the same topics, making the same points. At the same time, an informal and voluntary survey showed that most people did not want to have to filter out the messages in question.
