You incorrectly perceive a few people making a lot of noise as widespread interest. I'll also dispute the "technically-related" claim; most of this stuff has little to no technical content. Go back and read the RFID/toll booth thread. Technical content was pretty low. If there actually *was* some technical content, that might at least have some merit. But no, this latest thread was mainly about toll policy, evading speed law enforcement, who is responsible for what in a given thought experiment, whose debate skills are best, etc. > If you don't like a thread, kill it and don't read it. My point is that people with relevant, worth-while content feel uncomfortable posting to this list because of this crap. They perceive this list as full of flamewaring foolishness. That keeps them away. I think that's a damn shame. And I'd say I've got just as much a right to pointlessly bitch about all the pointless bitching as the people doing the pointless bitching have to pointlessly bitch. -- Ben "Bitchingly Pointless" Scott _______________________________________________ gnhlug-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnhlug.org/mailman/listinfo/gnhlug-discuss
