The biggest road block I have seen to the acceptance of Open Office is the fact
that they do not have the same menues as the products they are trying to
supplant.

Yesterday, my ten year old daughter wanted to use the computer that has OpenOffice.org. When I asked why she said because she couldn't figure out how to do something with MS Office but knew how to do it with OpenOffice.org.

Actually, she didn't mention the office suites by name, she just said that computer and this computer. Apparently she had learned how to do something on OpenOffice.org and when it wasn't the same on MS Office it was easier to just go back to OpenOffice.org. So I'm thinking that maybe successful acceptance of OpenOffice.org requires us getting it into the school systems.
