Michael, I hope I speak for the other respondents when I say that I was not "irritated" by your post. You voiced your opinion, as do many on this list. Sometimes my responses come across as "irritated", but I think I have a thicker skin than that.
I would never use Facebook for "official" GNHLUG business any more than I would use Myspace or Orkut simply because not everyone has accounts on these systems. These mailing lists (and our web site) for the most part are the definition of who and what GNHLUG is. To use another means of communications without agreement would disenfranchise some of our members.
