It really is amazing the junk that gets into textbooks.
\on topic The book is authored by an expert in the field (for more than 20 years). The authors literally pioneered Finite Difference Time Domain methods. Is the book an easy read -- certainly not! The code is a separate download(s) from the book. There is some code published in the book, but it is limited to basic examples. The code downloaded from the publisher (Artech House) doesn't exactly use the same variable naming convention as in the book, making it harder to follow. I guess that is a valid criticism. That being said, I did not, ahem, start from the beginning of the code examples. Perhaps I should review them first, to see if the material was covered in the beginning examples. Ducking back into the cave for more studying... _______________________________________________ gnhlug-discuss mailing list gnhlug-discuss@mail.gnhlug.org http://mail.gnhlug.org/mailman/listinfo/gnhlug-discuss/
