Hello all, I am really sad to bring two sorrowful messages in one day, but I just received news that Ian Murdock, the founder of Debian, was found dead on December 28th at the age of 42.

As you know, Debian repositories are used in Ubuntu, Knoppix, Mint and a variety of others. Debian's creation of a community is rivalled by none other.
