*MY* understanding is that this is PRIMARILY a meeting to kick off
the Central Chapter. My discussions with Bruce, Randy, and some of
the others in the geographic vicinity seem to favor "Central" as
opposed to "Concord" or "Capital Area". The idea is to form a chapter
that will span the greater Concord area as well as the southern Lakes
Region (e.g. Laconia/Gilford southward). Randy has been instrumental
in providing connections to NHTI in Concord and the Tech in Laconia.
To my knowledge, the SLUG/Seacoast chapter will be holding its own
meetings over on the Seacoast somewhere, or perhaps in Durham. To
be honest, I haven't bothered to look to see if/when those are
scheduled. But, that is the WHOLE point of having LOCAL chapters!
(SLUG - don't take offense - I've been busy with some stuff outside
of work and GNHLUG the last couple of weeks, so I simply don't know.)
However, in addition, Jerry Kubeck asked for a steering committee
meeting to follow the Central Chapter meeting so that it could continue
its work. You should ask Jerry for specifics on what he has in mind.
Does anyone disagree with what I've just outlined?
