I will let you all know right around noon if the first choice is available
on Feb 22 for our first GNHLUG presentations given by Ted Ts'o of VALinux.

While I have your attention, I will try to relay all of the itmes discussed
and decided on at the meeting last Wed night in Concord.

The most important item was how to keep the group focused without making
such a formal organization that it wasn't fun anymore. We all recognized
that a little formality in a few spots was necessary (such as a central
committee for gathering of all vendor stuff to be dispersed to all chapters
and the GNHLUG) This committee will be chaired by Rob Anderson of the
SLUG's (more on this committee later).

We decided that there was going to be some web changes and Ben Scott has
volunteeered to be the lead in this. He will keep us apprised as things
change.

(Bruce has the new logo on the gnhlug website now. We have decided to keep
both the first one that Maria did and the second one with a seal as they
both are great and we can use them for different venues.)

PR for the GNHLUG will be directed by me and with Dan York and Charlie
Farinella's help, we can do it for the chapters as well, if they would like.

Speakers for GNHLUG meeting will go through me and suggestions are always
welcomed.

Mike Ledoux has been selected as Chairman of the NUN committee as well as
the Installfests.

Lori Hitchcock is Chairman of the LBUD

Decided was to try to use the gnhlug-org more for communication so the
people who have volunteered to the various groups or committees are kept in
touch with the chain of events taking place.

Concord has chosen 2nd Wed of the month for their meetings, so as it stands
now here is the latest list

1st Thursday - Monadlug
2nd Monday - SLUGS
2nd Wed - Central (Concord/Laconia
3rd Thur - Merrimack

The Dartmouth group appears to be back and running with an installfest of
their own this month. I am not sure a date has been chosen yet. Looks Like
Tim Haven is back and he and Joe Hill have genereated some new interest up
that way. Good going guys.

Ok, back to collecting items from vendors. Would anyone who has starting
asking vendors for donations, etc, please contact Rob Anderson and let him
know and especially of any results. His email address is: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
I have a few items for giveways for Feb 22 (the GNHLUG meeting) and a
couple items I could give to the SLUGs for Tues night meeting, but have no
way to get them to you guys. If someone is over my way I would be happy to
give them to you.

I have some agenda items and speaker news for the LBUD I wil post later today.
