Hi all,

David Marston sent this to me this morning. He had recommended the Hooksett
Public Library as a possible meeting place, and has done some research into
local restaurants and watering holes.

I'm sending this on for it's archival value :) since it's never a bad thing to
have alternative locations lined up!

Seeya,
Paul

Subject: Hooksett library

I did a little test-drive tonight. Take Exit 9 off I-93 and head North
on US Route 3. At the first traffic light (Exxon station), start counting
mileage. The Hooksett library is 5.0 miles North of this point, on the
right and kinda up the hill.

On the way, note the restaurants at about 1.5-2.0 miles from the same
zero point mentioned above. There are a couple Chinese restaurants that
probably serve exotic drinks, and the more conventional local watering
hole is The Outback (not related to the Outback Steakhouse chain). For
chain places, there's The 99 and Applebee's. Closer to the library, at
about the 3.8-mile mark, is Evan's Pizza, which may serve beer. Other
pizza places don't seem to stay open that late.

The library is actually closest to Exit 11, the exit at the tollbooth,
and I can provide directions from there when needed. On that side of
town, there's a truck stop, which could make for an interesting mix
of cultures.
