Hello Everyone I sent Dave Miller the story about using Linux as a router(http://www.zdnet.com/pcweek/stories/news/0,4153,2440959,00.html) and his response was: > "If you'd like a couple of old boxes for the SLUGS to slam around with this, let me know! Have fun, D/" So, for the more technically orientated, (not technically challenged like myself) does anybody think that this is a good idea as a demonstration for our LBS??? Speaking of Demos. Last week I sent out an email asking if anyone would like to get together to start the ball rolling on Demos. So far Jeff Smith responded. The demos are not going to get set up by sending email back and forth. They are going to be set up by people spending HOURS at the Linux lab setting up and configuring the systems. And then spending more HOURS at the lab fine tuning and polishing them. There has been talk on Demos, but I have yet to see any names attached to this tasking. I'm not trying to step on anyone's toes on this. If there are some Linux Gurus out there with everything already planned out and are just waiting to come forward to set this up then please say so. Otherwise Jeff(who I think lives in Mass) and I(now you know we are hurting) will do what we can to set something up. Rick :-)
