Hi Folks,
I too have a lot on my plate right now and could use some input as to areas
that are not being covered. The agenda for the LBS as decided at the last
meeting is as follows:
10:00 Doors open, time for visiting exhibitors room, demo room, get
programs, get aclimated.
10:30-11:30 Keynote Speaker
There will be three topics covered throughout the day: Integration,
Support/Training, Applications. There will be simultaneous talks thru the
day on the half hour. 12:30-1
1:30-2 and 2:30-3. At 3:00 we would like someone to do closing remarks.
We talked about having Maddog do this but to my knowledge no one has
talked to him. If someone would like to take ownership of this task please
e-mail me. At 3:30 we will host a reception at Redhook Brewery. Peter
Rathbone is talking with them however, this weekend is the Rotary Auction
and Peter is Chairman of that event, so I will not be talking to Peter
until next week. I am also unclear as to whether Peter will be speaking
(PanAm, Virtual Airlines), Cole had told me Peter was going to be out of
town the day of the LBS but a subsequent e-mail sounded like he would
speak. I have contacted to Applix and Ben's new company but they have not
responded so I have crossed them off the list. If you have been intouch
with a company to speak or sponsor please e-mail me the company name, who
you spoke to, their position in the company, your next date to contact them
or the date you expect to get an answer and what you have talked to them
about. (speaking, sponsoring, demostrating) I will compile all the info
and get it back to the group in progress report form. If you know of a
company you think would be interested in participating e-mail me.
Jerry, who is talking to Burlington? We really need to pin down the
keynote right away.
Ben, Is the pre-reg form ready to go?
Rick, Have you spoken to NHTC about a speaker on the training they offer
and exhibiting?
I spoke to the e-coast technology roundtable about the Linux Business Show
and I think we can expect assistance and co-operation from them.
Interface Monthly will give us coverage.
Dan York is in Germany til 3/4 but he is offered to help with a press
release but we at least need a key note before we can do a release.
