While I agree with you 100%, this isn't my decision. We have Oracle in-house,
and it is felt that since we have it, and we're trying to position ourselves
as an "Oracle on Linux" shop, it makes more sense to use Oracle for all our
database needs, regardless of whether or not the task demands the power of
Oracle or not.
