Thanks for the info, Jerry;  I've been to the nnhlug web site a couple of times in the last few days to register as a new member, etc., but they are in the process of changing the site/responsibilities, etc., so I'll try again later.

FWIW, I'm an old VAX/VMS guy who later got roped into doing some NT sysadmin stuff back in MA, and I'm now (temporarily) stuck as a DBA in a M$ shop that also runs NetWare.  I've got a dual-boot at home w/two drives, one running Win98/2, which is mainly for the rest of the family, and Red Hat 6.1 and Star Office on the other.  Working up the guts to install Oracle8i soon.

Still reading docs as time allows and my middle name is Newbie.  Install had a couple of hiccups, but I think my past experience with VMS and DCL actually might have helped.  Running Gnome and if I can have just one little freebie answer to something, how can I make the font size bigger on my screen?  Just got bifocals, and being an old man I need bigger letters on that baby.

Thanks much to you and the others for providing me with at least as much info and tips in the week to ten days I've been on the list as I've had from the RH manuals and other docs so far. I stand ready to help out with any possible assistance I can provide.
