I had talked with Lori about this at the GNHLUG Nashua meeting. The
idea that I had was to do something like a "Step 2: After the
install". The target audience would be the new people who have
questions.
The installations are getting easier but then you still have a whole
system to administrate and run.
Jerry had just set me up with a new user wanting a linux install on
campus. I contacted him in the hopes of getting some first hand
information on what he would like to do second.
I thought we would have the meeting at Pease since this is the correct
month for it.
I also talked with Lori and Jerry about how I was on vacation the two
weeks prior to the last meeting. I had hoped to line something up
before I left but my uncle doing into the hospital before my trip
really messed up my plans. I didn't really disappear from the face of
the planet it just appeared that way. It took two days to read
through my email and it was too late my that time to do much. Sorry
to anybody that felt jilted, it was nothing personal towards anybody,
just my personal circumstances getting in the way.
