Actually, that's not correct. You can usually sub/unsub to the lists
by sending mail too:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
with subscribe/unsubscribe in the Subject: line.
The neat thing about mailman is that by default, all the List-
headers are used and turned on for every e-mail. If you have a
client that recognizes those (like exmh) you can use them
auto-magically to do things like post, sub/unsub, get help, etc.
Under exmh, I end up with a "List..." button which automates all
these actions based on the List- headers.
