Jobs list?! We have a jobs mailing list? Do you have the address so we can put it on the "Mailing Lists" web page?
His request is worded in such a way that I believe he doesn't want to be inundated with a bazillion requests and just wants us to recommend someone. He really needs someone who has implemented performance critical Java applications on a linux platform.
