I just updated the page and didn't have problems. (But that probably doesn't surprise you).
However, I have had similar problems in the past, which was usually resolved by rebooting a router or resetting a switch (I usually just reset everything, so I rarely never know which box was at fault), so maybe there was an arthritic router or something between you and the site. Another possibility is that there's a firewall that's not letting you POST substantial quantities of data on a non-secure link.
