Having taught at the college level I know that it is not often that you get a
whole DAY to address students, no matter how good a speaker you are. Therefore
I assume that you really mean for "an hour or two" and that would be fine also.
My schedule is more or less tied up until late November or early December.
Starting the week of November 25th to December 31st I only have December
3rd and 4th spoken for right now. What day would be convenient for you?
Also, I can talk about:
o The history of computing (and how that relates to Linux)
o The business of Linux (how companies make money or do not make money)
o New features of the 2.5 kernel and what they mean to users
o Why Linux is like a player piano.
Of these I would recommend the first three for a "serious" class.
