Thanks for the info. Here's the subscription log entries I have for [EMAIL PROTECTED]
subscribe:Apr 04 12:55:50 2003 (7929) gnhlug-org: new [EMAIL PROTECTED] subscribe.3:Jan 29 16:24:43 2003 (21357) gnhlug-org: pending [EMAIL PROTECTED] 24.61.88.42 The first entry was today when I forcefully subscribed you. The second entry is for Jan 29 when you first tried to subscribe. Now the question is: What happened on Jan 29? Mailman should have sent a confirmation to you... And it looks like your mailer received it (assuming this was the confirmation request): Jan 29 22:10:05 rogue sendmail[22891]: h0U3A2B22890: to=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, delay=00:00:03, xdelay=00:00:01, mailer=esmtp, pri=311773, relay=mail.jumpshift.com. [216.107.207.57], dsn=2.0.0, stat=Sent (h0U3A5s15952 Message accepted for delivery) Did you confirm it? The only problem with that is that the times aren't even close... Oops - I believe you may have found another bug in mailman - when the same address attempts to subscribe via both the web and mail (the old majordomo mechanism), then it looks like they get dropped. This is bad. If I have time, I'll try to reproduce the situation and if I'm able to, I'll send a bug report to the mailman team. --Bruce On Fri, 2003-04-04 at 13:18, David Long wrote: > On Fri, 2003-04-04 at 12:59, Bruce Dawson wrote: > > This is news to me.
