Actually, I was thinking of hosting a BBQ in September here at the farm

Unless you want it July 10, or 11, or 17, or 18. (Other times maddog
said he would be in the area, but he appeared to prefer the September
dates.)
With Nashua's BBQ late in Aug, that might interfer with a BBQ in
September.
I don' t think that it'll be an issue. Most of the people at the Nashua
meetings fall into two categories: those that wouldn't go that far
north anyway, and those that would show up at both. Besides,
it'd be a short Wednesday evening thing, much different than what
you're proposing.
What do people think?
I'd go to both!
