As a list moderator, I can say that anything that will reduce the
amount of time purging spam would be a good thing.

Make sure this change of policy gets mentioned on all the lists,
so that subscribers are aware.

Lets start with this, and if the moderators revolt, then we can become
more of a "bloody viking". (We do still have moderators don't we -
they've been omniously quiet about this)
