So there I was, happily returning from vacation in Oregon, knowing that I
was pushing my luck: I only had one week to finalize stuff for the GNHLUG
meeting.

Then I caught up on my mail, and realized how wrong I was. *sigh*

I think I'm claiming "new parent brain." This goes in conjunction with
my wife's former excuse of "pregnant brain." While the baby isn't colicy
(colicky?), per-se, sleep is a resource I find I'm missing way more of
than I have since my college hacking days; just two nights ago, she woke
up at 1:00 a.m., and decided that sleep was something babies didn't need.
(Yeah, yeah, I hear the those with more experience in this matter
chuckling derisively.) As for yesterday, after the Atlanta -> MHT flight
finally got in, we got to sleep just shy of 3:00. Yes, in the morning.

So: Heather, Jim -- my apologies. I think I'm going to have to concede
that I'm just too stressed for time at the moment to do this right.
(Yes, I did bring my notebook on vacation with me, but no, I didn't have
the connectivity that we'd been assured we'd have. Not that vacations
with a three-month-old really qualify as "vacations," but there were
external reasons behind the decision to go.)

So, if you want me to conduct future meetings, I'd certainly be happy to
do so, so long as I don't actually botch the [EMAIL PROTECTED] dates.

Oh, and I see that there's a meeting for the 12th; I've got a wedding that
we just got invited to -- a friend we've renewed our acquaintance with --
down in MA, so I'm afraid that's out, too...

So, if anyone wants to put out the call for a replacement, I'd have to say
that wouldn't be the worst idea.

Sorry, all...

Ken (very, very, very tired -- damn that bottle feeding!) D'Ambrosio
